Crisis Intervention & Advocacy Center Services 

An assault creates a crisis—both for you and the people closest to you.  It is important to remember that it is not your fault; no matter what the circumstances, you did not deserve to be assaulted.We at Crisis Intervention & Advocacy Center are here to support both you and the people close to you. We know the courage and strength it takes to survive. Recovery can be a lengthy and difficult process.  Time, support, and talking with understanding people are all important parts of healing.Our services exist because many women are assaulted. We provide domestic abuse and sexual assault services:24-hour Crisis Line (toll free) 1-800-400-4884 & 1-800-550-0004.For someone to whom you may talk; someone who will listen.
Advocacy

Trained peer counselors who will talk with you by phone or in person at a neutral location (away from your home). They also have information on community resources.

Shelter

For you and your children. You can have time to yourself in order to rest and plan your next step.

Support Group

Meetings are held for you to talk, gain support, and share ideas.

Accompaniment

To necessary doctors or hospital, court proceedings, or other considered circumstances.

ALL SERVICES ARE FREE, VOLUNTARY AND CONFIDENTIAL

2 THOUGHTS ON “CRISIS INTERVENTION & ADVOCACY CENTER”

I am Med/Surg nurse manager at Guthrie County Hospital, other than the pamphlets and cards that we have. Is there any specific information that we can be giving our new staff members, such as who(not specific names) does our provider do the physical exams and evidence collection or does an outside person get called in to do this. An info you can share would be helpful.

    Yes we can provide a training for your new staff to introduce them to our agency and what we do.
